Here's a sampling of slides from the Saba Global Summit I designed. These were created from scratch, no template. I was provided a draft of the speech and took over from there.
I assisted on the new Yahoo brand launch PPT, providing slide content to multiple speakers in time for the unveiling. The template had already been created. My job was to make edits, create animations and find imagery in keeping with the look and feel. The following slides show examples of my work from replacing low-res logos and reassigning animations, to laying out type treatments, to creating graphics in PPT, to choosing imagery.
This PowerPoint needed to be easily customizable and yet also have that designed look, too. Adding lots of color and illustration in between gray slides helped keep it looking fresh.
I searched for the images in these slides based on the concept the presenter wanted to get across to their audience. We relied on PowerPoint to be a visual aide instead of outlined bulleted points. These types of presentations always got a positive response.
Each color bar, word and image were timed to fade in and out as though it were designed in Flash. I layered the artwork and set the timing for this 40+ slide presentation.
