Last Saturday, I hosted a workshop on Creative Gift Wrap. I started with an Introduction to Creative Gift Wrap presentation where I talked about the components of gift wrap as well as design elements and principles. I discussed current trends and talked briefly about creativity—ideas for getting inspiration and maintaining inspiration. I ended the morning with a paper rose tutorial from the ellinée blog. After lunch I taught a few more gift wrap related tutorials—making a gift bag from scrapbook paper as well as tissue paper flowers, poms and tassels. It was really fun! Can't wait to do it again.
